Q: Upgraded to Capitan, now my hard drive is read only.

Pretty much sums it up. I've got a 1TB samsung M3 external hard drive that I've been using every day since I got it.

My mac is a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 with memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR.

I upgraded to Capitan without my hard drive plugged in and now when I try to open final cut pro libraries it says "The document can not be read. Read only file system. When I try to open up other files like .png's they are locked and I need to make copies to edit them. I checked and the hard drive is formatted to Windows NT File System (NTFS) which is odd because I think I remember formatting it to FAT32 when i got it but that was 8 months ago so I cant say for sure. Either way, before Capitan I could access everything, now I can't. Kinda stressing over this as I have 800GB of footage for work on it. Any solutions to be able to change from read only to read and write would be perfect. Thanks in advance!
