Q: Siri uses data while turned off
I have had Siri turned off for the last 5 hours and it has used 2 MB during that time. I have only used 3 apps during that time. A cycling app for about 18 minutes, a walking app for about 16 minutes and a navigational app for about 10 minutes. The only thing these 3 have in common is he use of GPS. Basically my phone was idle for over 4 out of the 5 hours I checked. That's 10 MB a day or 300 MB a month and that is while it is turned off. At this rate I can't leave cellular data on but turn it on when I need data which is quite inconvenient.
