Q: I can't get videos to stop streaming to Apple TV and play on my iPhone instead.

I have a 3rd generation Apple TV and was using airplay to watch videos from my iPhone. I have the most recent software update. Now I cannot get videos to play on my phone; they automatically AirPlay to my Apple TV. I do not have the icon on the video to start/stop AirPlay, and once I start playing a video it turns on my Apple TV to play there. Any suggestions?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are having issues in stopping AirPlay sharing from your iPhone. If you are not seeing the option from the video, have you tried it from Control Center?
See the following article:
Get help using AirPlay and AirPlay Mirroring on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Control Center tap the AirPlay icon
You should see your Apple TV checked as in the following image. Click on the icon for your iPhone to change it back to your iPhone.
That should get your AirPlay back to your iPhone.
