Nov 12, 2015 10:58 AM in response to coopmaxby Niel,No, you didn't.
If you're on a Mac, choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If the message reappears, disconnect the computer from the Internet and erase that site from the browser history.
If you're on an iOS device, click here and follow the instructions in the first paragraph of the last section.

Nov 12, 2015 12:56 PM in response to Nielby coopmax,It was at the site beconhs.com which was the wrong address that the insurance co gave to me. It opens a page with a bunch of warnings and stuff, seems different each time, and then when you try and navigate away from it a window opens asking are you sure you want to leave the page, and won't let you leave it. I did the force quit you suggested and when I brought up Safari again it did not return, but I was worried that this site did something more malicious. I couldn't get it to display the original blue page with all the threatening text on it to post here.
