Q: Did I just get a virus?

I just got sent to a webpage from an insurance co that was incorrect & got a strange screen called "System warning error", did I just get a virus? I can give more details of the experience or even a screen shot if it would help. Thanks

    No, you didn't.

If you're on a Mac, choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If the message reappears, disconnect the computer from the Internet and erase that site from the browser history.

If you're on an iOS device, click here and follow the instructions in the first paragraph of the last section.

From the little bit of information you provided, it certainly sounds like a scam.

If you want more then that please provide more information.

It was at the site beconhs.com which was the wrong address that the insurance co gave to me.  It opens a page with a bunch of warnings and stuff, seems different each time, and then when you try and navigate away from it a window opens asking are you sure you want to leave the page, and won't let you leave it.  I did the force quit you suggested and when I brought up Safari again it did not return, but I was worried that this site did something more malicious.  I couldn't get it to display the original blue page with all the threatening text on it to post here.
