Q: Roboform extension unavailable in Safari

I recently updated the iOS to El Capitan and then Roboform had an update.  After this update, I can no longer find the Roboform extension in the Safari Extension Gallery.  I tried looking at an earlier Safari Gallery where it is still located and I get "This developer's server appears to be busy.  Please try again later".  Is anyone else experiencing something like this?  What can I do to get my toolbar back?

I checked the FAQs on Roboform website.  they indicated the the upgrades cleared out the extension.

Q: RoboForm disappeared from Safari after the update.

A: Please navigate to Safari > Preferences > Extensions > activate RoboForm

If there is no RoboForm extension, then obviously the extension was deleted by Safari on its update.

You should copy the extension from the RoboForm installation folder to some other location and open it there from Safari to install the extension:

    /Applications/RoboForm.app/Contents/Resources/RoboForm.safariextz

What i did was just copy this URL  and paste in the safari extensions  URL that displays  Apple Inc. in green.  when i did that it loaded.

    give that a try.

same here, I followed the FAQ about installing the extension manually but safari would not accept it.

I raised a ticket with roboform.

I finally found a solution to the problem.  I started my Mac in Safe Mode and was able to get the extension.  When I restarted in Normal Mode, I had my fingers crossed that it would still be there and it was.  A round-about way to do this!

There is an absolute easier way to do this:

Simply open RoboForm Preferences > Updates > Reinstall plug-ins

and watch the magic after the browsers shut and re-open!

    Enjoy.

Thanks. That worked perfectly for me. I didn't realise that if you right click on the Roboform app you can explore the contents like that.

    Really appreciate your help.

the extension stopped working after El Capitan update and I never managed to get it back on safari.

today I got the 2.7 update, same problem.

I uninstalled roboform, started MacOS in safe mode, installed roboform 2.7, it worked.

the extension was visible and functional.

but as soon as I rebooted the system in "normal" mode, the extension disappeared.

    I'm giving up on roboform.

I found 1-password from the extension gallery, at least it's officially available in the Safari gallery.
