How can I monitor time usage on my WiFi network ?

Sorry, but Apple routers do not provide any means to monitor previous time use of products on the network.

 

There are some settings that would allow you to control the times during the day when devices will be allowed to connect. Check Timed Access in AirPort Utility to see your options.

    Time Usage is fairly restricted in most routers. ie even the more sophisticated firmware will not log times.. as it is relatively unimportant..

     

    Devices that sleep are still connected.. and so it is almost useless number.

     

    You can see usage which is generally more useful .. try an application like peakhour in the mac.. but that needs the  right router.. not AC model airport.. but earlier ones work.. or other brands that have SMTP still working. Apple decided nobody needs it in new models.

     

    Or you can get a router with firmware like gargoyle that will track usage very accurately.
