Nov 11, 2015 7:16 AM in response to dovfromilby patriotfan88,Really? was it easy to complete? Sounds easy enough but I'm really still nervous to try it out. But I might have to take the plunge. Did you use the free trail?

Nov 12, 2015 1:02 AM in response to patriotfan88by dovfromil,It was pretty easy. Stick to this step by step and youll be fine. https://imazing.com/blog/how-to-fix-ios-9-stuck-on-apple-logo-after-restoring-a- backup
I was also nervous - but it worked like a charm.
Also, although you can do it with the free trial of iMazing, I purchased the full version in order to extract all my sensitive stuff from the backup. Ie. Audio Notes, regular Notes, Pics/Vids etc, just in case something went wrong, at least I had the stuff that I really cared about. The trial version doesnt let you copy more than 15 items I think. Definitely worth the purchase either way, I can see myself using it again in the future.

Nov 14, 2015 11:43 AM in response to dovfromilby r-m,I've gotten a little lost with this thread.
My "white background, black apple logo" hangup is after restoring from an iCloud backup.
Does the iMazing solution work for iCloud backups? Also does it save Health data?

Nov 14, 2015 6:12 PM in response to r-mby patriotfan88,Yes it should... as long as you follow it exactly. be prepared that it will take a while. and id def recommend buying it and restoring it through imazing. theres a code that can be found through a google search that will give you a $10 discount.
i can say that i tried this solution and it worked for me as well.
the only thing that id say that was found during the process was to set up as new (disable find my iphone and passcode to make it easier) and then restore from the corrected backup through imazing. also i noticed that after i restored to back up through imazing it presented me, in imazing, that it would restart my phone and it would be good. i had to manually do my own restart. also when setting it up after complete restore and when youre being guided through the set up process (the "hello slide to unlock" screen) i got to the "restore from icloud, backup, or set up as new phone, or transfer from android" i just selected "new iphone" and carried on and it was fine. almost like an unnecessary step.
