I have been trying to install El Capitan on my MacBook Pro. However, the installer will not let me select the Mac HD to install it on. It says that this disk is used for Time Machine. I've never had a problem installing anything before.

I've never used Time Machine on this device. It is turned off and the file it says to delete are no where to be found.
