Q: OS X LION not installing on MacBook Air Original
Hi all,
Im in some desperate need of help!
I have a MBA original (early 2008) which use for work, I had hardly anything on the system and it ran perfectly until last week.
I switched the computer off as usual and when I got home I tried to start it again, the computer was stuck on the grey screen of death.
I have had the HD changed and tried a clean install of OS X Lion but to no avail.
My old HD was checked on another computer and worked perfectly fine.
I have tried to run an instal after pressing CMND and R on startup that keeps saying the disk is damaged, even though it is not.
Having searched through forums etc I can see that there is a problem with the flex cable that joins the HDD to the computer but not for my model computer, could it be this? Also where can I purchase one as I've not found one on eBay or Amazon.
Has anybody had this problem?
Looking forward ward to some help!
Thanks
