Q: Can't delete mail for iCloud in Mail app on Mac
Hi,
Since the last update to El Capitan I can't delete any mail in my Mail app on my mac. I also can't get any new mail. I have turned off the mail in preferences and restarted and rebooted many times. It's beyond frustrating now. How can I just delete mail and receive mail?? I don't want go to menu and select get all mail or sync as that doesn't work.

Please sign out of iCloud in its preference pane and sign back in. No data will be removed from the servers, and you can retrieve it by signing back in. That said, you should always have a current archive of the data for safety's sake, even if you don't sign out.
If you use iCloud Keychain, when you sign back in to iCloud follow one of the procedures described in this support article to set it up on an additional device.
