Q: i accidentally approved an app for my kid

Is there any way to reset or unapprove an app that I accidentally approved for my daughter through Family Sharing?  I deleted the app from her phone, but she can still just go and re-download it without approval now.

I know this post is nearly a year old, but I'll reply with what I found in case it helps anyone.

I think I found a workaround. I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't 100% decided to delete the app from my child's phone yet, but I tested it out on my devices.

On a mac (or PC), I was able to to hide the app under my purchases. (see the link from the other reply) Then on my iPad I opened the App Store and looked under purchases. That app did not show up as purchased on my iPad.

If I decide to delete it off my child's phone, I will login to my child's account in iTunes on the mac and hide the app. Then it won't show up under purchases on my child's iPhone.

The one thing I'm not sure of is what happens if my child just searches the app store for the app. Usually you get the download from iCloud icon. Would that be the case? I just searched the app store for the app on my iPad (the app I hid on my mac) and the app didn't show up at all. Maybe hidden apps don't show up in the app store?

It'd be nice if Apple set up something where a parent could look through all approved apps/purchases from Family Sharing and "unapprove" things on the fly, but the above may have worked.
