Sep 8, 2015 6:30 AM in response to mdNawedby mdNawed,One more thing- Do we really require pre-boot drivers ? As I read somewhere they are already included with Windows 10 iso file. Because I was thinking of downloading Microsoft Support Software manually without using BCA.

Sep 8, 2015 11:44 AM in response to mdNawedby Loner T,As a test, can you use https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier to download Windows Support Software? This will verify end-to-end connectivity to Apple servers.

Sep 8, 2015 11:45 PM in response to Loner Tby mdNawed,I didn't get that brigadier thing. Anyway I made a bootable USB drive in Windows machine using the cmd process. And after that I downloaded Windows Support Software from Apple's site manually and placed all in my USB drive. You can see it in the screen shot. Now my question is that I am not able to boot from this USB drive. I tried using BCA selecting only option 3. And even I used the option key. Basically my USB drive is not listed in the startup disk. So help me in this.

Sep 9, 2015 2:53 AM in response to mdNawedby Loner T,Can you post the output of
sudo fdisk /dev/diskN
N points to the USB when connected and can be found using diskutil list.

Sep 9, 2015 3:35 AM in response to Loner Tby mdNawed,Well, actually it's getting complicated. So leave it here. Help me here. I have already installed Windows 10 in my bootcamp partition. And I have downloaded bootcamp driver 5.1.5769. But this driver is not getting installed in my Windows 10. So, I need bootcamp 6 for this. Just provide me the external link.

Nov 16, 2015 3:34 PM in response to mdNawedby Van Abbemuseum,Had same trouble with stuck download from Boot Camp Assistant.
Actually, /message/28861795#28861795 helped me:
download brigadier, you'll get a folder called brigadier-master, open it.
now leave that folder open, command-N (=new window), command-shift-U (=go to Utilities) and open Terminal
drag the Unix Executable file called brigadier on the terminal-window and it should run and download your Boot Camp drivers to a folder called BootCamp-031-24514 (in my case) directly in your home-directory.
If you get an error that it's from an unknown source and can't be run, open System Preferences, go to Security & Privacy and mark Allow apps downloaded from Anywhere. Drag and drop brigadier again to terminal window.
You'll also see where it's downloading from and what the precise link is. Copy that link from Terminal window for save-keeping and/or to download through Safari.
brigadier eventually broke after 28.6% with a socket.error: [Errno 60] Operation timed out
downloaded the BootCampESD.pkg directly in Safari after that.
What it showed me was how terribly slow it was downloading. So probably there is something wrong at Apple's software server... it used to be the quickest.
