Nov 16, 2015 10:51 AM in response to ivanscholesby Ingo2711,Did you check if the backup you made on 15/11/2015 is still listed in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices?
If not, the backup you made on the 16/11/2015 replaced the older backup. A backup is only saved and will not be replaced when it has been used to restore a device.
If the backup is listed, pressing the CTRL key while choosing "restore from backup" should give you the option to choose backups from that list.

the 15/11/2015 version is not listed, which probably means i'm only left with the 16/11/2015 data? Is there no way to retrieve its from the C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup file? There is some files which are modified on 15/11/2015, but the info.plist file is modified 16/11/2015. Sigh, I should have cancelled the backup before it saved.

Nov 16, 2015 11:10 PM in response to ivanscholesby Ingo2711,Sorry, but as mentioned, the new backup will replace the older one, unless used to restore your phone.
If you included the backup folder into the backup routine of your computer, you could restore that backup file and probably use it.
Data inside that backup file can't be retrieved or copied into another backup file.
