Q: I am having problems with iMovie.

I am using iMacs in a classroom connected to a Mac Pro server.  When I updated to iMovie 10.1, student can no longer find or save an iMovie Library.  I get the following message;

"Libraries cannot be saved at this location.  The format of the selected hard disk or network volume is not supported.  Select a different location.".

iMovie 9.0.9 works just fine but not 10.1.  We are using Active Directory to login with student home folders on the Mac Pro running the Server app.  iMovie has worked fine for years, just not this new version.

Any ideas?  I do not want to reformat the network drive as hundreds of student accounts and home folders are located on it.

thank you very much for your thoughts.
