Q: WiFi and Ethernet using airport extreme

My ISP insists that it is not possible to use WiFi and Ethernet at the same time.

I want to connect my Mac Pro via Ethernet and the other computers in my house and Apple TV via WiFi. The ISP says this cannot be done.

    That was my thought when I was told that, but I was never able to get it to work for me.

    I'm not a novice user of home wireless networks, but I just wasn't sure. The Extreme (ac) has been sitting on my desk now for almost a year. I want to use it which was the reason I asked the question.

    If the AirPort Extreme is operating correctly.....and it has been configured correctly......then multiple wireless devices and Ethernet devices can all connect at the same time and all of them will have a good Internet connection.

     

    At the present time, the AirPort Extreme on my desk is simultaneously delivering a wireless signal  to 4 different devices and an Ethernet signal to 5 different devices and all them are working perfectly.
