Q: iPhone5s/iTunes 12.3.1.23 Issues

can anybody explain this? phone isn't plugged in, but it still shows up. & when it is plugged up it won't sync at all. I've looked thru multiple threads and websites and they all mostly say the same thing. everything they suggest I've tried, but nothing has worked for me.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.1

Hello MikeyVercetti,

So if I understand correctly your phone is not plugged in but it is still showing in iTunes. That tells me you have Wifi syncing enabled. You can turn that off in the Summary tab of iTunes. Here is some additional information on that:
