Q: Why Hardware Keyboard settings list only a limited number of keyboards?

Hello,

I have an Apple Bluetooth Swiss French keyboard that I am trying to use with an iPad Air with iOS 9.1.

I was excited at the new flexibility included in iOS 9.1 regarding hardware keyboards but for the languages I use: English, French Italian and Japanese, only French (Swiss) language supports the Apple Swiss French hardware keyboard. It is a pity as I don't think it would be so complicated to support other physical keyboards setup.

Typing in different languages in iOS 9.1 on a physical keyboard is still not an option at least not on the Swiss French keyboard. It was silly with iPad and it is even more so with the new iPad Pro.

The "best" solution is to pick the German keyboard, but accents and other symbols do not match.

Sorry if I missed something.
