Q: iCloud account can't be changed after I changed my apple ID

My previous email had no longer been used for years. i changed my Apple ID a week ago but can't change my iCloud account In my iPhone.I had tried "sign up" and "delete account" in my iPhone. however, it keeps asking me to key in the previous apple Id password. I can't change the default Apple ID in iCloud. Apps store is fine to use after changing. Anyone know what to do? Thanks guys!

Hi have the same or similar problem.
I changed my appleID and I cant sign out of the old one, to sign into the new. The password is always incorrect and I never get the forgot password link.
Does anyone know how can I sign out?

There is no second screen. Just spinning trying to sign in old account which doesn't exisit because I have created a new Apple ID.
