Q: How do I remove the reminder in update even after update of Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.17

Updated Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.17 but reminder won't remove itself from update list

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), All updates up-to-date

Try restarting Mac.  Then download and install the Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.17 stand alone updater.

 

If the problem remains even after another Mac restart, use OS X Recovery to reinstall your Mac OS from the Recovery System stored on your startup drive. Using the Recovery System stored on your startup drive installs the most recent version of OS X with all current updates.
