Nov 20, 2015 2:56 PM in response to nick92by Old Toad,According to this Apple document you can send up to 200 emails per day with an Apple/iCloud email account: Mailbox size and message sending limits in iCloud - Apple Support. Are these personal emails or for a business? If the latter it's prohibited according to the same document.
To get that many addresses in the BCC field create groups in your Contacts and just enter the group name in the BCC field. You want to use the BCC field so as to not broadcast each recipient's email address to all the other recipients.

Nov 22, 2015 9:44 AM in response to Old Toadby nick92,Hi OT
I'm secretary of my local cricket club - so emails are personal. We have a membership of approx 150 members but I can't find a way of emailing this number of people in a single email. Does your BCC suggestion get around this?

Nov 22, 2015 9:49 AM in response to nick92by Old Toad,I don't think so. Have you tried sending to a group. If there are less than 200 it should go thru according to the document I linked to. Otherwise break it into 2 or 3 groups and try.
Do you get some message when you've tried? What is it?
