Nov 21, 2015 1:22 AM in response to Ajesh Ashokby Marshino,Honestly try an SMC reset; Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
To reset the SMC:
- Shut down the computer.
- Plug in the MagSafe or USB-C power adapter to a power source and to your computer.
- On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
- Hold them down for about 15 seconds.
- Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
- Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Nov 21, 2015 1:50 AM in response to Marshinoby Ajesh Ashok,I tried the SMC reset yesterday.
And it still has the same problem.
Pretty upset about this, cuz it usually boots up within seconds! -
Nov 21, 2015 1:56 AM in response to Ajesh Ashokby tjk,Hi Ajesh,
If it's the power on button, that's before anything else is initiated. That likely means it's the button itself, or possibly something it's connected to. Either way it sure sounds like a hardware issue, meaning it's time to contact AppleCare or go to an Apple Store or AASP.
