I found that Shake Mouse Pointer to Locate Cursor was off in my system settings.

It's on by default and I don't remember turning it off. (Buuuuut, I might have.)

Does anyone know of apps that can affect this setting?

I doubt it could be malware because I leave my security settings only on "Mac App Store" and I use an up to date version of Chrome. But if anyone thinks this could be any kind of weird malware, please let me know.
