Nov 21, 2015 3:32 PM in response to ScubaJennby SGIII,Hi ScubaJenn,Note that you can switch rapidly between sheets by swiping or dragging in the bar with the tabs (sheet names) rather than using the left-right controls on the right. If I have a lot of sheets and I need a vertical listing I use this Jump to Sheet Automator Service (Dropbox download). It contains a very simple AppleScript. When I hit a keyboard shortcut (I use shift-command-j) I immediately get a vertical list of all the sheets in the document, like this:To install, simply double-click the downloaded .workflow package and, if necessary, click 'Install Anyway' in System Preferences > Security & Privacy. It will immediately appear in your Numbers > Services menu. To assign a keyboard shortcut go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts >Services. With the rapid horizontal dragging on the "band" with the tabs and this handy Service you'll have the best of both worlds, even more convenient than the old Numbers 2 interface.SG -
Sep 20, 2016 7:50 PM in response to SGIIIby Mos quito,Thank you... have been wanting to do this since day 1 of the new look. Hate the top bar, it is so inconvenient. This fix is good but it would be better if Apple would just let you choose the layout!
Thanks!
