Q: CANNOT VIEW HD MOVIES ON WINDOWS 7 WITH NEW ITUNES DOWNLOAD

Watching HD movies perfectly fine until i downloaded itunes 12.3.1 and now I cant watch hd movies at all.  I get a message your display resolution is too low for iTunes extras. you must have a computer with a built in display or have it connected to a display that supports HDCP. please help I have no idea why I am getting this message. called apple support they offered no help, called video card company they said the video card is HDCP compatible. Why all of a sudden after downloading this new ITUNES am I experiencing this. Any help would be appreciated

I had this same problem. When I updated to iTunes 12.3.1 on windows 7, suddenly iTunes reported that HDCP was not available on my display. I checked the driver settings, and the driver was in fact reporting that my display did NOT support HDCP, even though previously it had supported it. So, I powered everything down, display and computer. Then when I powered things back up, my display was again listed in the driver settings as supporting HDCP. And now iTunes will play HD movies on my display. Who knows what caused this all to happen.
