Q: 2011 MacBook Pro taking a long time to start up

My mac book pro is taking forever to startup this happened after I used the photo booth video app it just froze. I than forced shut it down and now it take for ever to start up.

After booting open the Console app in Finder>Applications>Utilities and look for log entries during the startup that have errors or other problems that might take a lot of time.
How long is forever?
