Q: Apple TV 4 gen bluetooth audio

I have a logitech bluetooth audio adapter hooked up to a amp, the apple tv 4 will not see the bluetooth adapter, the adapter works with my mac and iPhone fine. Restored apple tv and set up again, issue still occurs. Any ideas, do only some bluetooth devices 'work'?

    Hey there aprimrose,

I understand that you are experiencing some issues when attempting to pair a Bluetooth device to your Apple TV. Here is an article that deals with this circumstance and can help you address it:

I have the same problem. My bluetooth audio adapter can connect to various other devices but not Apple TV 4. And yes, I have tried the link that you posted and it did not help.

I have a big problem when trying to watch Apple TV 4 using bluetooth headphone for audio... it would appear the process of delivering the audio to my headphones impacts on the Apple TV performance causing frequent rebuffering of video stream and reduced picture resolution - COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. My Apple TV behaves as if my broadband speed has plummeted when headphones linked to it.  Incidentally  my headphones are new AKG. My Apple TV connects via wireless to my router. To also clarify - WITHOUT the headphones connected the Apple TV video works fine so not a wifi issue it would seem. Is this indicative of an inability for the device to do two things at once? Eg walk AND talk?? I am perpetually gobsmacked by the appalling software that Apple seem to be cobbling together these days for ALL their devices - each "update" brings with it a fear of crashing devices, data loss and removal of previous functionality - are Apple subcontracting out the whole of their software authoring to a bunch of idiots somewhere?
