Nov 24, 2015 7:45 AM in response to dsnjs03by keg55,You need to use OS X El Capitan to have full feature functionality with your Magic Mouse 2 (MM2). I believe the boxing clearly states as a requirement OS X El Capitan (10.11 or later).
This link on Apple's website gives you what the system requirements are for your MM2.

Nov 24, 2015 7:51 AM in response to dsnjs03by K Shaffer,Other users had noted similar issues as you mention, and suggestions to upgrade to El Capitan
seemed to resolve them; perhaps in fact due to later drivers for peripherals are include in 10.11.
Did you try the System Preference setting for mouse behaviour, tracking, and others? To say
you've 'tried everything' says little in exact terms; in effect, may cartwheeling or chants, help.
Your mouse doesn't scroll up or down or side to side
- See Mac Basics: Multi-Touch gestures to make sure your Gestures are configured correctly.
- Try adjusting your scrolling speed preferences.

A test would be to try a third-party scroll-wheel multi-button mouse, many do not require drivers;
this allows you to proceed to see if you may want to update or upgrade. A workaround to mouse.
{PS: Delays in appearance of hidden answers leave me to seek an oracle or precognition software
so as to not re-tread a well paved path. I'd try a mouse-in-a-box or other generic product first. There
were no replies in evidence when I began.}
Good luck & happy computing!

Nov 24, 2015 8:46 AM in response to K Shafferby dsnjs03,I apologize. My firehouse just purchased these computers. I thought that they were all up to date and ready to go because they were already installed. It appears that they have not been updated or truly set up. I will work on it then post if they work after that. Thanks sorry bout misinforming you.
