Q: Tried to activate iPad pro with T-Mobile.

Failed three times.  Called T-Mobile support and they had never heard of an Apple SIM.  Any one know how to do this?

Do you have the Wi-Fi & Cellular version of iPad Pro?

You do not need an Apple Sim, what you need is a cellular Data Only Sim from T-Mobile (normal nano sim for phone do not work)

Interesting since the documentation with the iPad pro says the Apple SIM will work with any carrier that is in the program.  T-Mobile is listed as a carrier in the program along with AT&T, Sprint and GigSky.  I do have a Wi-Fi & Cellular version of the iPad Pro.

Yes, you are correct Apple Sim is available in the U.S. & U.K., but you can also use any carrier nano data sim.

Anyway, maybe the guy you talk to from T-Mobile is not informed or want to sell you something else.

Go to a local Apple Store, they can surely help you.

Well, I finally tried AT&T and that worked correctly.  Wanted to avoid AT&T but given price is about the same and their process works, I will use them.  iPad Pro now works perfectly.
