Q: Reset network setting in ios will reset that in mac too?

But it seems to be the case, because under network setting in my mac, only the networks which my iphone has joined before show up, others are gone. I just don't know why it acts like this.

What do you mean? Like my wifi network at my home, school or public area. If I reset my iPhone's network setting, when I go back to home, my mac wouldn't connect to my home's network too. I have to retype the password. And I go to system preferences -> network -> advanced under wifi, I only see the wifi networks that my iphone has joined after resetting the network setting. That's why I think they are related, but I couldn't think of a reason why apple would do that. So i'm wondering if I set something wrong....
