Nov 27, 2015 1:12 PM in response to léonieby AMCarter3,My camera is a brand new model by Panasonic. The prior model is on the list and is almost identical.
I tried repairing my Photos library. Good idea, but it did not help. Any other ideas?

Until your camera is supported, use the the software provided by the manufacturer to develop the Raw files - Silkypix is cumbersome to use, but a quite good RAW converter for Panasonic RAW files.

Nov 27, 2015 2:52 PM in response to léonieby AMCarter3,Actually, I looked at that list again and my camera (Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ300) was added in the last update -- 6.17 -- so that should not be the issue. Any other ideas?

Nov 27, 2015 3:21 PM in response to léonieby AMCarter3,I'll bet that update will do it. Excellent suggestion. Unfortunately, it requires El Capitan and I have not yet upgraded from Yosemite. What are your thoughts about El Capitan? I usually wait until at least the first update in a new version of OS X to let the early adopters run into the normal bugs that come with an upgrade.

Nov 27, 2015 3:52 PM in response to AMCarter3by LarryHN,Then you need to upgrade to ElCaptain or use the Panasonic software
and BTW El Captain has has one update - it is currently version 10.11.1
