Q: Why no touch ID to approve kid's app purchase.

Why doesn't touch ID work for this feature? I hate having to type in my password every time my kids ask me to approve the purchase. Merely selecting touch ID for App Store purchases does not work.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.1
