Q: On some calls my iPhone 6 screen goes blank until the other person hangs up until than its dead except we can talk

RRecently while talking on some phone calls the whole screen goes blank. We can talk but until they hang up my phone is completely unresponsive no matter what I do.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.1

If your screen is too dim, too bright, or you see only faint images

  1. Try to adjust the brightness. If the screen doesn’t respond when you adjust the brightness, open several apps to make sure it’s not an issue with only one app.
  2. If you have a screen protector, try removing it. Try removing your case if it includes a screen protector.
  3. If you see the issue in multiple apps, restart your device.
  4. If restarting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
  5. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

    TThanks for the advice.  I restored my iPhone today and hopefully it will resolve the problem. The phone is completely dead no matter what I do except the call itself and stays that way until the other person hangs up.   its done it maybe 1 out of 4 calls and just started doing it the past couple weeks. 

       In 2 weeks I've own the phone a year so my plan is to bring it to Verizon if it does it one more time.  Before my warrenty is out.
