Q: How do I stop getting "iCloud Password" popup box in OS X Yosemite?

I am on a Macbook Pro running OS X Yosemite. Recently, I started getting a popup asking me to enter my iCloud Password. How do I disable this popup from ever appearing again? It is now on constantly and I cannot get rid of it. I never use iCloud, I don't want to use iCloud, and as far as I know, I don't have an iCloud Password.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), NOT an iCloud user

By any chance did you enable Apple's two-step verification for Apple ID?
