Apple TVOnly by copying them to your family, there is no mechanism as there is with purchased content.

It isn't Apples responsibility to assist you to copy movies that haven't been purchased from the iTunes Store. You can't email movies they are simply too large, the easiest method would be to put them on to a USB thumb drive.
