Q: I get this error on start up: AMD-Action:authenticate:SP for iCloud verification of my AppleID

Can someone tell me what this might be referencing and how I can clear it?

MacBook Pro (17-inch Mid 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

I am not familiar with this error. Sometimes the built-in Search function of the SiteWare is in adequate to find relevant threads, where Google succeeds using its Site Search feature > https://www.google.com/search?num=20&q=%22AMD-Action%3Aauthenticate%3ASP%22+site %3Adiscussions.apple.com&oq=%22AMD-Actio…

Read through the other threads FIRST, then decide if any might provide some insight to your specific problem (this does not see to be specific to "iCloud Authentication" )
