Q: Why am I getting GREEN playback when I add a photo or titles on my project?

I am working on a project that is due soon. When I overlay the titles with text on them, the playback screen shows a green screen. These are not the green flashes that others are talking about. I even shared the project to youtube to preview it and YES, the green frames carry over to the final project. Please help. Boss is not happy lol. Thanks in advance.

What of OS and FCP? What are the complete system specs? Project properties? Media?

Tom, its FCP 10.2.2 and the OS is El Cap 10.11.1

The files I am working with are 3k (shot from a drone with a 4k camera but he slid the quality down to save space)

These are the system specs I got from the "about this mac"

Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5

    Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB

The actual video files are working just fine, a little slow to render of course, but the problem begins a few seconds after I overlay some text on top, or overlay a picture over it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You graphics card is probably the problem. If you have access to another mac, try it. You may find that there is nothing wrong with your project, but your GPU just can't handle it.

If you need UHD for whatever reason the Boss will need to invest in a more powerful computer for you. Otherwise, create a 1080P project and edit in the HD project.
