There are Bluetooth splitters which will allow the functionality your trying for. But even my iMac or MacBook or PC only allows one headset or one speaker to be paired at any given time...

I was actually talking about Airplay (Apples own protocol over wifi) rather than bluetooth.
Airplay supports streaming to multiple speakers as its already implemented in iTunes on the mac.
However the AppleTv and iOS devices are limited to streaming to a single speaker - not sure why.
