Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If your emails are not being downloaded from your email server, then I recommend that you follow through the steps outlined below.
Follow these steps first:
- To make sure that you're connected to the Internet, open Safari and go to www.apple.com.
- Log in to your email provider's website and make sure that the account is active and that you're using the right password.
- Check your email settings.
- Restart your iOS device.
- Remove the affected email account from your device with these steps:
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap the email account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Add your account again.
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Cheers.

Nov 29, 2015 2:03 AM in response to alex_h1by kingclart3,Thanks for that Alex. My emails initially download ok but in many of them the content disappears after a couple of days. I can still see the summary but no content in the main body of the message. I am not Pop3 but imap and have read elsewhere that the fix you describe might not work.,I have 2 email addresses and the same problem plagues them both.
