Q: how to transfer pictures from a flash drive to i mac

not sure how to transfer pictures from a flash drive to i mac.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), iOS 9.1, 10.10.5

A:

Plug flash drive into your mac.  Flash drive icon should appear on your desktop.  There are adapters for camera sd cards.

 

You may be prompted to add the photos to the photo app.

 

If not or you do not want to add photos to the app, you can double click on the flash drive icon. You may have to drill down to the folder where the photo are.  Drag and drop the photos to where ever you like.
