Q: how do I use switch control to wake up my iphone?

Is there a way to use switch control to wake up my iphone? using it with permobil bluetooth adaptor and joystick if that matters.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.3

    Yes. If you can move your head left or right go to Settings->Accessibility->Switch Control->Switches->Add New Switch->Camera->(choose one: Left Head Movement, or Right Head Movement). Under "System," select "Home Button." The result: with the device in front of your face, moving your head either left or right (depending upon what option you selected) will result in the home button being tapped. This will "wake up" your iPhone if the screen has been turned off.

    I think I am allowed to say that apple helped, and in the next version of the OS, it now responds to the joystick.

     

    I am enthralled by the solution above using head motion as a switch, but it should respond directly to the joystick now using the latest version of the iOS.
