Q: HELP: CAN SYNC DEVICES ON ICLOUD

I am trying to sync my devices on iCloud but it does not work because my home phone number was somehow put in for the verification code instead of my cell. I went to the Apple store and they could not fix it. I called the tech support system and their suggestion did not work either. Can someone help me?

iCloud, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), to sync iphone, iPod and laptop
