Q: WiFi network adapter goes offline

Hello,

I have been using boot camp on my MacBook Air Mid 2011 since 2013. One month ago I updated to Windows 10 and everything worked fine until yesterday evening.

After installing mandatory system updates, my WiFi module randomly switches off.

When it happens, I suddently lose connection and nowhere I access the wifi settings anymore. It is as the entirely wifi module completely crashes. I have to restart the computer in order to see the wifi menus again.

I uninstalled the Broadcom network adapter and reinstalled it through the "detect new hardware" tool, but the problem persists.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Filippo

Do you have a Windows System Restore point you can roll back your Windows to? I also recommend disabling all automatic updates and manually checking each update notification. Drivers are the biggest issue with Windows on Mac.
