Q: El capitan doesn't show usb photo stick

Finder has external drives on. Time machine works in usb ports. USB stick with photos does not show up. USB stick works on my windows laptop, so i know stick is good.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

Does it show in Disk Utility?
If so what is format?
If not in Disk Utility does it show in System Profiler under USB

Does not appear in either. 10 jpegs on stick

usb stick doesn't show in any tool
have other sticks in office will try tomorrow
