Q: After deleting all incoming e-mails as a group, no more incoming e mails have been received and it's been about 24 hours. I do seem to be able to send an e-mail but am not receiving. What did I do wrong and How can I fix it?

I deleted all e-mails as a group and now am receiving none. What did I do wrong? How do I fix?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

If you're not receiving email and aren't sure of the cause, the first step I'd recommend is to run Mail Connection Doctor.

Use Mail Connection Doctor

This will check your email account(s) and show more detail about any issues it detects.
