Dec 7, 2015 11:02 PM in response to Rusty_Toaster09by UGADog,iPods do not get viruses with normal use of an iPod. Jailbreaking can lead to the introduction of viruses and trojan and similar harmful programs. But you would know if your iPod was jailbroken because doing so is really quite a hassle. The worst that can happen in normal use is a bad website tries to take over safari or other browsers and you get messages like the one you got or a lot of advertisements. You can fix that by going Setting > Safari > Clear History and Website Data and then restarting the iPod. Other browsers available from the App Store have similar options for cleaning the history and cache removing the problem. I suggest you do that now if that message persists.
