Nov 11, 2015 6:17 AM in response to FUZZY DUNL0Pby corvairkid,You may be correct Fuzzy.
The problem, more and more, is that when these issues occur, the typical response by these two corporations is to say it's the other guys fault.
We get left hanging.

Nov 30, 2015 8:30 AM in response to willow878by awhite13,*No, Apple doesn't read the support forums in the way you'd like. The forums are actually for fellow users to share our own fixes. I'm sure Apple has an algorithm to track what the most pressing issues are.

Dec 1, 2015 8:31 AM in response to corvairkidby frankxiv,This is definitely an OS X El Capitan problem because I am having it with the built-in Calendar app and some others.

Dec 2, 2015 10:18 AM in response to jasonfromclontarfby m.alf,With Microsoft Outlook I don't have any issues but still with Finder on my iMAC. I don't see the issue on my MAC Book Pro. Something must be stored any file. ".DS"? I already cleared all files but it didn't help.

Dec 8, 2015 8:53 AM in response to corvairkidby docdross,Same issue, different program. Using VM Fusion in 2 monitor full screen mode: mouse clicks not recognized AT ALL! I must run in single monitor or single window mode. Oh yes, I have the same Outlook window sizing issue.

Dec 9, 2015 9:43 AM in response to FUZZY DUNL0Pby corvairkid,Confirmed!
I just updated to OS X 10.11.2 as well.
The problem persists.
I will continue to minimize/hide the Outlook window, instead of closing it, as a work-around.

Dec 10, 2015 9:25 AM in response to corvairkidby alun severn,Yes, I raised this problem within hours of moving to El Capitan and still use the minimise/hide function for Outlook rather than closing the window. It *is* a pain because it isn't just the window that loses its size settings, the column/view spacings that you have chosen are also lost.
On start-up, however, Outlook opens to my preset window/column settings, but if I close the window and then re-open it, generally speaking the window opens at a smaller (much smaller!) incorrect size. Always use minimise to prevent this -- until (please!) there is a fix.
