Dec 9, 2015 12:39 PM in response to Rissetteby King_Penguin,No, as you are the family organiser your card will be charged - if the balance was on their accounts then it would be used, but a balance on the organiser's accounts won't be used.

Dec 10, 2015 9:19 AM in response to King_Penguinby Rissette,I'm sorry. This isn't logical. Why would I want to have a charge on my credit card rather than use the credits I already have. Now I will be forced to put the credits on my children's separate apple accounts to make use of the gift cards they have received. That's completely ridiculous.
How do I go about discussing this issue with iTunes/Apple. You should at least have the choice ( a setting or something) to redeem your credits when family members ask to purchase. So frustrating.
