Q: Will apple release an update with a black keyboard?

Hello guys, it would be nice to contact apple for an update release that includes a dark or better a black keyboard.

I contacted the apple team so i hope for a good answer.

Can you do it too?

It would be very very useful and i will be thankful.

Reasons:

1. The battery will have more power, because it will not consume so much battery for the brightness for the display.

2. At day and night it will have a nice contrast, and better for reading.

I hope that one day my advice and wish goes in reality!

Do you guys agree with me?

Thanks

iPhone 5, iOS 9.1, null

You did search the app store for one, didn't you, because they do exist.  Download one and be on your way.

You know maybe that they won't do anything when they have just one person with that advice, but when 100 or 1000 or more people have the same wish they will react.

Apple has already taken steps to improve battery life such as Low Power Mode.

No, I don't agree at all. The difference in the amount of battery life used by a white versus black keyboard is insignificant. White on black is much harder to read. However, if you want such a keyboard, do as Mr. Peck suggested and download one. There's no need for Apple to re-create what already exists.

Thanks to the replies, but when you mean on third party apps like swiftkey and other apps, then i wouldn't download. I know that it exists in that way, and i tried it before... some of these apps are full of bugs so no thanks.

I would like have original from apple.

Other than the fact that I don't care for either Swype or Swiftkey's basic operational premise, I haven't found that there's anything wrong with the apps. There are so keyboard apps out there, I can't believe all of them are completely buggy. However, it's up to you.

It's zero. The screen is backlit, and the entire screen lighting is on even when the screen is all black.

If you honestly think you'll get 1000 people to request the same thing, you must be on drugs.  You'd be lucky to get 10.
