Q: Can Calendar search be expanded to more than the 2 year window? Need to search further back.

Need for Spotlight search to search more than the one year ahead and one year in the past. Can this be expanded? Could Apple put in a setting to specify the dates to search? Helpful for checking older doctor appointments, etc.

On iOS (iphone and / or iPad) operating system how I can search my appointments older then one year?
