Q: Can you manually adjust Activity app information?

If you perform a workout on an app not supported by the Activity apps, can you manually update active calories for the workout in the Activity app?

If so, does it have to be done the day of the workout, or can you update past activity?

Apple Watch, iOS 9.2

    Hi Joel

It is not presently possible to update the Activity app manually (on either your watch or your iPhone).

However, workout data can be added manually to the Health app on your iPhone. The Health app aggregates health and fitness-related data from Apple Watch, iPhone and any other sources (eg blood pressure monitor, scales, etc), with combined data reflected in the (customisable) Health app Dashboard.

To add workouts to the Health app:

    - On your iPhone, in the Health app, go to: Health Data (tab) > Fitness > Workouts > Add Data Point > choose an activity type and add your data, including for past dates.

If you would prefer to be able to add workouts to the Activity app, you can let Apple know here:
